Meet the hosts of the
Morgan Franklin Fellowship GSA Class of 2019

Morgan Franklin Fellowship is a nonprofit foundation whose mission is to teach financial literacy to young adults with the goal of inspiring current and future generations to improve the financial well-being for themselves, their families and their communities.

The Morgan Franklin Fellowship program consists of financial literacy education and stock market investing.

The Morgan Franklin Fellowship program begins with Students completing and passing three self-paced interactive online educational literacy courses designed to increase knowledge in financial literacy. Upon successful completion of the three educational courses, the Student earns the title “Financial Fellow” and can then apply to the investment portion of the program.

We’re looking for Students

The Morgan Franklin Fellowship Foundation offers a unique student educational program. Year one of the program is designed to give youth ages 12-20 the opportunity to learn basic financial literacy concepts. Each Student enters the program with a Personal Mentor and is paired with a Financial Mentor for added guidance. Upon successful completion of this part of the program, the Student is awarded the title of Financial Fellow and is invited to apply to the Investment Program.

Students that apply for and get accepted into the second year participate in the Investment Program. This is where the Fellow gets involved in hands-on investing. Selecting and investing in actual stocks with real money.

We’re looking for Mentors

Each Student/Fellow is partnered with a Financial Mentor. The Mentors reinforce the online educational material to deepen the Student/Fellow’s learning through practical application, support the Student/Fellow using personal and professional network resources, and provide guidance on developing the Fellow’s stock market portfolio in the investment program.

A Mentor must be 21 years of age or older, and have in-depth knowledge and experience in finance, the stock market and/or business.
