The Bridges House
21 Mountain Road, Concord, NH, 03301

Event Type

GSA’s will have the opportunity to volunteer at the Bridges House for the 50th anniversary celebration. This spectacular party will take place on Sunday August 25th, and the shifts will be from 10-5. There is a possibility that we will be done earlier than that. I will be there with you. The shifts will include a mix of walking, standing, and sitting. Please let me know if you would want to sit more than stand or vice versa. You will be rotating in and out of the following positions: parking, will call check-in, runners, merchant tent assist, food set up for the band, floaters, and then all will assist with clean-up at the end of the event. We are asking for 15 volunteers who are able to rotate in and out of these positions, ready to help with whatever needs doing.

Because of the event theme, with the Eagles tribute band “Another Tequila Sunrise,” you are able to dress up your uniform with a little hippie flare. However, the uniform must stay the same. You will receive a $10 food voucher to use toward a lunch at the food trucks. There will be breaks where you can listen to the music and eat. Please keep in mind, you are still working and representing NHGSA and the state. We ask that you do not consume any alcohol.

Parking will be offsite, and board members will pick up our volunteers to bring them to the house.

Orientation: Orientation will be Thursday August 22nd, 3:30-5pm. If you have volunteered at the Bridges House events before, even better! However, with the orientation, there will be a tour, and it is highly suggested that you attend. We will have a time out for that ASAP.
