The New England Apparel Club is a wholesale show for retail stores and buyers. This show is not open to the public. Manchester is a new venue for NEAC. The goal is to make the Retailers and Exhibitors feel welcomed and have a positive experience.

Granite State Ambassadors will be volunteering at the expo hall doors, the ballroom doors and armory doors checking badges, directing attendees, and providing show information.  GSA’s will be welcoming retailers from New England and New York to the Manchester NEAC Show, as well as answering questions and directing Retailers and Exhibitors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • CHECK Badges for entrance to show floor(s) Badges MUST be worn and visible.  Everyone entering show floor must have a Badge. Exhibitor / Buyer / NEAC Staff / Hotel Staff ID. Check that badge displays COLOR of the day. In your binder are samples of badges and times they can enter.
  • Sunday – badge / Monday – all badges need a green dot sticker on them for entry / Tuesday its a red dot sticker.  Participants need to check in with registration DAILY to get their dots and be entered into the raffle.
  • DIRECT Attendees – to Registration and all exhibit floors.  NEAC will be utilizing the Expo Center as well as the Ball Rooms and Armory Hall.

The show floor opens at 9am. BUYERS cannot enter the floor before 9am, not even for coffee. Assistants, Manufacturers and Exhibitors can enter after 8am. If someone says they have an appointment before the show floor opens, they need to register at expo center, get their badge and then their exhibitor sales rep needs to meet them at the door and escort them onto the floor.

You will be posted just through the glass doors that lead from the hotel to the ballroom / armory area. The doors to the street will be locked. Do not let anyone in there. Signal them to go around to front hotel doors.
For first hour or so, it will be busy. Stand on either side of the table and ask to see everyone’s badge. If they don’t have a badge, send them to expo center to get one. Only exception are hotel staff, and NEAC staff. If someone gives you a hard time, write their name down and they will be fined by NEAC. If they fuss, tell them “NEAC requires a badge for entry”. If they left their badge at their booth, you can take their name and let them in. There will be NEAC board members around. David Murphy, board is in first booth in Contoocock Ballroom.

There will be coffee and bagels in the ballroom from 9 until they are gone. After the morning rush, you can have some, but one person must be on duty at the table at all times. Please don’t eat at the table. The Daily Brew near the expo entrance should also be open.

There is a daily raffle for all show buyers / exhibitors. They do not need to be here to win.
