Description of Event:  In the spirit of the traditional markets found in Helsinki, Finland, the Historical Society of Cheshire County will host a Finnish Tori (marketplace) on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Troy Elementary School.  Over 25 vendors will be on hand to sell hand-crafted products, imported goods from Finland, art, and Finnish baked goods. According to local Finns of the Monadnock Region, “you never know what you’re going to get at the tori.”  Expect to be entertained with Finnish music and demonstrations of handicraft. Refreshments will be available with proceeds going to support the Historical Society of Cheshire County. The Finnish Tori is organized in conjunction with FinnFunn weekend at the Inn at East Hill Farm, a full weekend of Finnish workshops, presentations, films, food, and fun.  For more info visit: https://east-hill-farm.com/events/event/finn-funn-weekend/
