Event Overview:
French and Indian war, Revolutionary War, and Civil War battles will be reenacted in the woods and fields. Explore the various re-enactor encampments including sutlers who will be displaying and selling their wares.

Saturday evening, join us for a living evening celebrating the dances of Revolutionary and pre-Civil War New England.

Life in an early New Hampshire village is made real by attempting daily activities common long ago including: churning butter, making soap, splitting stones, using a wash tub and walking through a tiny community that looks very much like it did nearly 200 years ago. Children of all ages will enjoy contests and skill building exercises and can win a prize by undertaking a village-wide scavenger hunt based on an historic quilt design.

Volunteer:
Thank you for considering volunteering to make this event a success. We literally can’t do it without people like you. We’ve split up the jobs into multiple shifts this year to hopefully keep people from getting burned out from having to be there all day both days, etc. But, we are hoping that you will sign up for multiple shifts, maybe moving from one activity to another to give you some variety and also a break between jobs.
