Social Committee: Tuscan Market – Tuscan Village in Salem

The Social Committee is happy to announce a gathering at Tuscan Market in Salem for our GSA Social event this July. We hope you can join us. These are unofficial events, we pay our own way and all GSAs are welcome. It is a great way to see some friends, make new ones and have fun. Plus it gives us a chance to get to know NH businesses and for them to learn about us.

What to Bring: A Lawn Chair.  Feel free to bring your own lunch or lunch/desert can be purchased inside the market or after 3 at the beer garden,   Also feel welcome to bring a friend or family member, perhaps someone interested in becoming a GSA.

Tuscan Market purchased the Rockingham Park and is in the process of developing mixed-used destination (condos, stores, restaurants, and hotel) where people can live, work or play.   The project currently has two phases opened.

This is a slightly different event, because Tuscan Market has a public open area outside their restaurant, it contains a lawn with Adirondack Chairs and fire pits. Next to this area is a Beer Garden (open at 3 pm), with picnic tables, food trucks and lawn games. There is also an outside bar area.

Since during the summer the market is very busy, we are not going to eat inside the market.

There is a stage/pavilion which we will meet under for shade/rain.   People can purchase snacks and drinks, then gather in the lawn area.  Also check out some of the stores.   Between the Tuscan Market take out and their Beer Garden, there should be plenty of food and drink options.  The food and beverage options are:

The beer garden: After 3 pm, Pizzas, Burgers and Beers.

Tuscan Market: They offer take-out of Pizza by the slice. Before 3 pm, you can take out items from their lunch menu (sandwiches, salads).  Plus amazing looking deserts and gelato.

Other: If you prefer seafood, across the parking lot, there is a Beach Plum.   And Chick-fil-A or Chipotle is nearby.

Directions:  Heading south on 93, take exit 1. Go straight thru the first set of lights (going to the mall). At the second set of lights turn left into Tuscan Village. Right away, you come to a rotary, take the first exit. At the stop sign, take a left into the parking lot.

This will be a fun informal gathering.  In a common area with different options for food.  And the opportunity to explore.  We look forward to seeing you!
