Tour: Introduction to the Statehouse

Dates: May 23rd OR 31st

Time: 2:00 – 4:00 pm

Description: Welcome to our new GSAs, former GSAs, and any GSA who hasn’t participated in a Statehouse tour!  The State House Visitor Center has scheduled a tour of the State House just for you!

Plan for an hour for the tour and up to another hour for introduction to our center.  We will have some of our regular volunteers available to give you their ‘insider State House GSA’ information.

If you would like to come early and have lunch before touring, there are many great lunch locations on Main St. and there is a wonderful cafeteria at the State House that is open to the public.

Calendar sign-ups: Open

Eligibility: Any new GSA or current GSA can attend

Uniform: GSA uniform. No purses or bags allowed on tour – leave them in your car trunk. You can bring a small cross-body purse, a waist pack, GSA cinch pack, or your new GSA neck wallet. Wear comfortable shoes.

Accessibility: Multiple floors, elevator available

Meeting location: 107 N Main St, Concord

Parking: Parking is always an issue so plan to park on the street or a nearby parking garage.  Parking can be arranged for volunteers for most days in our General Court Parking garage on Storrs St., and you can try to see if there are openings on March 21 or try out one of the parking garages nearby.
