Tour: UNH Observatory, Durham NH

Date: Thursday, September 7th, Rain/Cloud Date: September 11th, 7:30pm-9:00pm (Calendar sign-ups: Will open on August 10th, 8:00 am)

Description: The Observatory Director, John Gianforte will provide a tour of the UNH Observatory domes and will provide views of various celestial objects such as Saturn, Jupiter and various star clusters

Eligibility: Must be an active GSA and have 50 service hours

How many GSAs can attend: 25-30

Uniform: GSA uniform. No purses or bags allowed on tour – leave them in your car trunk. You can bring a small cross-body purse, a waist pack, GSA cinch pack, or your new GSA neck wallet. Wear comfortable shoes.

Accessibility: One location, accessible

Meeting Location: The UNH Observatory on the Durham UNH campus – 16 Spinney Lane, Durham, NH 03824

Bathrooms: There are no bathrooms on site.  There are options close by.  More info to come.

Parking: On-site

Water: Bring a waterbottle with you.

Weather: Weather dependent.  Rain/cloud date of September 11th
