sign-ups open Nov 6, 7am
The City of Manchester has invited 8 GSA volunteers to help stage the parade participants for the holiday parade on Saturday, December 7th. What a fun way to see the parade in a new light, and all the floats get assembled!
You will be in the Brady Sullivan Tower parking lot, 1750 Elm Street, Manchester helping to direct the parade participants into one of 5 lines.
Hours are 1 pm – 5 pm (probably 4:30). The parade begins at 4pm.
The Brady Sullivan Building will be open to warm up, for restrooms and their cafe.
The parade will only cancel for severe weather and goes by the road-running race (Santa Shuffle) that happens just before it.
Sophia and Jodie will email you details as we get closer to the parade day. Last year’s crew said it was a lot of fun.
You will report to Sophia Koustas/Jodie Nazaka when you arrive and they will give you a training on site. Jodie will be reaching out to all who signed up on Tues the 3rd and again a day before the event with details.
You DO NOT have to wear your GSA uniform. Dress for the weather. They will have volunteer lanyards for you on site.
