Parking: Park on the 5th floor of the garage (or the highest accessible floor) and bring your ticket with you. Take elevator to 2nd floor and cross pedestrian walkway. Information booth is on main floor to the left of the escalators.

Staff: There is no staff on duty. Sign up with another GSA to mentor and then let Kelly know when you signed up so you can be expected.

Volunteer Opportunities: Shifts are available year-round in the NH Information Booth and as part of the Walk-about program from 6am-midnight, daily including holidays.

Perks: Long-term parking in garage for 28 days a year (up to 14 days at once). More info…

**You many only sign-up for 1 shift between 9am-6pm on any given day. Double shifts are only allowed beginning at 6am or 6pm, but are discouraged. This is a busy center and we don’t want you tired and not at your best.

Parking: To receive free parking, park near the visitor center. Run into the visitor center and check out a hanging parking pass from the Manchester Transit Authority employees. Hang the pass in your car while you are on shift. This pass can only be used while you are volunteering. If you decide to go out for lunch or shop after your shift, you must pay the kiosk meter.

Parking: Due to construction, parking is on your own at the moment.

Usual parking arrangements: You can park on the top floor in the legislative garage off Storrs St. Display your GSA car decal. Free parking in garage is not available on Tuesdays-Thursdays from Jan – June. Volunteers are still needed on those dates. During that time frame, parking can be found off Prince St. (which is the small one way road by the Concord Auditorium) behind the Concord Library, is the Merrimack County Bank lot (with a GSA placard). Up to 3 GSA’s can park in this lot during the mid-week.

Contact GSA Kelly or Emily for directions to and into garage.

Duties: Greeting visitors, & answering phone. May be asked to help with some administrative tasks for events, like name badges, registrations… or light computer work. Task work is optional and will be done in the visitor center.

GSAs are also invited to volunteer at several of the Chamber’s events: the Black Fly Open, Strawberry Festival, Chamber Night, and the League of NH Craftsmen’s Fair.
