White Mountain Attractions Association has invited 6 GSAs with over 500 hours to attend their FREE, fully escorted 4-day tour. You must not have attended this tour in the past 3 years. On May 10, 8am, the hours restrictions drop to 250 hours. On May 13, 8am, the hours restrictions drop to 100 hours if there are still spaces available.
The tour is also open to information specialists who work directly with the public at Welcome Centers, Chambers of Commerce, regional associations, and other selected venues.
The upcoming tour takes place June 17-20 2019!
This Educational Tour is sponsored by the White Mountains Attractions Association (WMAA) and is designed to teach information specialists
about the 17 legendary Attractions of the region, as well as the Kancamagus Highway, Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch, and
the Mount Washington Valley.
White Mountains Attractions Association will cover the cost of admission, receptions, meals, lodging, and transportation while on the tour. A final itinerary, including helpful tour information will be sent to participants in late May. This tour is open open to those who work directly with the traveling public at your organization.
**** This tour is not for the faint of heart — you will traveling by bus and will be moving for 4 days and evenings straight and will spend time exploring each of the attractions. Please take note of your own physical limitations prior to signing up.
You will wear your GSA uniform on day 1 of the tour and your GSA name badge with comfortable, weather appropriate clothing for the rest of the days.
