It was another wonderful lunch with a great group of GSAs at the Ichiban Japanese
Steakhouse & Sushi Bar in Concord NH. With the size of our group, we were able to
fit around the large horseshoe shaped table, which included 2 Hibachi Grills. They
quickly served our drinks then took our food orders, which included salad and soup
along with the meat(s) of our choice. The 2 chefs arrived and began their magic.
Ours was quite good, juggling his knives and spatulas and preparing our meals with
a flare. At one point they cut pieces of zucchini and flipped it in our mouths. I guess
that was the appetizer! I was able to catch mine, as did several other GSA’s. What a
The show was fun and the meal delicious. They were efficient with their service,
which supplemented the show nicely. We all had a great time.
Ichiban is a great place to go with a group although I did see smaller gatherings so
that works also. The area with the Hibachi tables is only one of the dining rooms.
They have a fairly comprehensive menu which you can find on their website. Lots of
parking and it is very conveniently located off route 93 in Concord for folks heading
north. To view all the photos click here.
