Tour: Manchester Millyard Walking Tour
Tour description: Manchester’s Millyard was once the largest textile manufacturing center in the world. Vestiges of that empire still shape the Manchester of today, and visitors will come to see how the current city is inextricably tied to its past.

Hours Limit: Must be a Manchester area volunteer with at least 150 hours

*If the tour is not filled by Friday July 17th at noon, feel free to sign up if you do not meet the hours requirement.*

Meeting location: Millyard Museum at 200 Bedford Street
Parking: Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the building in the front (200 Bedford Street) and rear (Commercial Street) sides of the building. On street metered parking is also available on the streets surrounding the building.
Weather: Dress for the weather and walking
Uniform: GSA uniform required – Forest green shirt, khaki pants/shorts/skirt, comfortable shoes, very small bag allowed
