Tour: Loon Mountain – learn and play August 2

Date/Time: Friday, August 2nd 10am – 2pm

# of GSAs that can attend: 20-25

Eligibility: GSAs with at least 25 volunteer service hours, 12 of which in the past 3 months. 5 seats are held for newbie GSAs – email Kelly.

Uniform: Wear your GSA uniform. You can change to mountain bike if you choose to do this activity. 

Difficulty: The main tour will be accessible but we will be covering some ground at the main mountain.

Lunch: purchase on property or bring a picnic lunch

Tour description: We will be riding the Gondola to the top for a quick visit to learn about the summit amenities; check out the Adventure Center with Zipline, climbing wall, and bungee trampoline, and then onto their impressive new mountain bike center featuring the Kanc8 which takes bikes and riders up the mountains to ride terrain for all abilities. After our tour, you are invited to experience anything you’ve seen including returning to the summit to explore the caves or have lunch. GSAs can also make a reservation through Kelly at least 10 days before our tour to try your hand at mountain biking (rental included).
