Transcript:

We are so incredibly grateful to all of our volunteers and for your dedication to our organization – Happy National Volunteer Week!  Our organization could not exist without our incredible volunteers, and we want to let you know how much we appreciate you all!  While we have enjoyed seeing many of you virtually over this past year, we are beyond excited to see you again in person!

Our 25th anniversary programming has been very well-received so far, and each month we’ve enjoyed featuring different regions and topics.  Just when we thought we knew a lot about New Hampshire something else catches our eye and we can’t wait to share it with all of you. We are looking forward to the rest of the year and our upcoming monthly themes.  If you have any ideas or suggestions for additional programming, please let us know!

Welcome Centers will begin to open for more hours soon and we have 6 (!) major events scheduled for the fall months for you to volunteer at and enjoy…three of which are brand new to the state! You impressed the new RibFest event management company so much that they asked us to staff all of their New Hampshire events. More details will be coming really soon as their final town approvals come through. We hope to see you at some small in-person tours this year as well.

You have once again shown your dedication to being the very best and elevating our organization’s status in the industry by participating in the Dennis Snow Guest Experience Training and our GSA re-certification program. Both will continue to be available to take virtually during 2021 and are strongly encouraged. Having a high number of participants is part of the reason we are able to bring you so many new opportunities, including the three new events.

As part of our year-long 25th Anniversary Celebration, we are holding our first ever Founders Day Celebration at Chuckster’s Miniature Golf, Chichester on June 1st. This was the date of the very first partner meeting in 1996 that formed Granite State Ambassadors. To show our deep appreciation to our founders’ continued support and for your role in our organization’s success, we would like to invite up to 72 GSAs to be our guests for a day of thanks, gifts and fun with 18 holes of mini-golf followed by lunch and some yummy ice cream. At the event we will be handing out a special thank you gift – our new logo’d neck wallets to all who attend. For those who aren’t able to be there, they will be available to reserve for delivery at volunteer locations and tours as well.

We want to sincerely thank you for all your dedication and support for the past 25 years and especially through the pandemic. Our beloved organization would not have made it without the incredible outpouring of support you showed. You brought us to tears…It was a truly humbling experience.

Happy National Volunteer Week, and thank you for all you do for us!
