Interview: Bedrock Gardens

Emily recently interviewed John Forti, Executive Director of Bedrock Gardens. Enjoy!

Experience New Hampshire’s Bedrock Gardens,
a premier garden of New England.

Bedrock Gardens welcomes you.
Bedrock Gardens is an emerging public garden that integrates unusual botanical specimens and unique sculpture into an inspiring landscape journey. This 37-acre site is transitioning from a historic farm and private garden to a public oasis of art, horticulture and inspiration.
Visit a garden that the Boston Globe described as “one of the most beautiful and intriguing landscapes in New Hampshire”.

Days and Hours: We will open to members only on June 16, and to the general public on June 20. Our hours are Tuesday through Friday and the 1st and 3rd weekends of the month, from 10am to 4pm after opening June 16 members / 20 general public through October. See details and guidelines on visiting here.
Note re COVID-19. In these trying times, the power of gardens is all the more important and relevant. From the psychological benefits of connecting with the natural world, to the health benefits that stem from direct contact with a rich soil microbiome, we all understand that gardens are places of healing and wellness.

Meanwhile we will respect the stay at home order of Gov Sununu, remain closed, and reassess the situation as public health guidelines change.
