Bedrock Gardens Tour: A NH Gem

If you have never visited Bedrock Gardens in Lee, NH, we would highly recommend a visit to this magical place!  GSAs had the privilege of visiting this week and listening to John Forti, the Executive Director, give an informative and engaging tour.  His horticulture expertise and passion for the gardens shone throughout our entire visit.  He had an answer for every question and a story for every garden area.  It is amazing to be in the middle of Lee, and to feel as though you have escaped reality into a serene outdoor escape.

GSAs, if you are looking for some outdoor volunteering opportunities (perfect for social distancing), this is the place for you!  More information about volunteering here.

Here is what some GSAs had to say about their experience:

“John, I really appreciated your insight and knowledge while leading us on the tour of Bedrock Gardens. It is truly a place to head to for reflection in this world of stress.”

“As a Granite State Ambassador since 1996, I have been on many familiarization tours. I must say yesterday’s tour is at the top of my list as one of the most enjoyable ones. Bedrock Gardens and your knowledge made my day.  Actually, it made my summer!
Thank you again and I look forward to returning to spend  time in such a wonderful public garden.”
