Learn from a GSA: Beekeeping with Nick W.

On March 16th, at 9:00 am, we will kick off our Learn from a GSA series with GSA Nick Wallner, who is a member of the Capital Area Beekeepers!  Nick will teach us about bees and the equipment he uses for beekeeping.  He will share with us the basics of beekeeping, what getting started entails, zoning, and some examples of beekeeping courses.  Nick has participated in beekeeping for 9 years and enjoys it – join us in learning about his experiences!

Capital Area Beekeepers: Located in Concord, New Hampshire, CABA was organized in 2010 with a mission to provide support and education to beekeepers and the public regarding honeybees.

With a membership of over 200 beekeepers of all ages, occupations and levels of experience from beginners to commercial beekeepers we promote good beekeeping by providing ongoing education to beekeepers about the latest beekeeping practices to both our membership and the general public.

NH Beekeeping Association: The New Hampshire Beekeepers Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and study of bees, beekeeping, and the economic importance of apiculture in the state of New Hampshire.

Hours: GSAs will receive educational hours for attending.
