Lecture: Maple Sugaring at The Rocks

Join The Rock’s Director Nigel Manley for an interesting program about Maple Sugaring on their spectacular property in Bethlehem.
Nigel will show a video that he would normally show in the sugarhouse so we can show what visitors usually see. This video shows the operation and the sugarhouse itself. He will also talk about why drilling holes in trees isn’t good for the trees and how they mitigate it, along with the maple syrup grading system.
We will be meeting online via Zoom.
Hours: GSAs will receive educational hours for attending.
Uniform: Please treat this as a virtual tour, and please wear your GSA shirts.
