Tour: Around the Historic State House

Tour date: April 18th, 2:00 – 3:30 pm

Calendar signups: Open on Monday April 4th at 9:15 am.

Eligibility: Must have served 50 volunteer service hours

How Many GSAs Can Attend: 30

Uniform: GSA uniform. No purses or bags allowed on tour – leave them in your car trunk. You can bring a small cross-body purse, a waist pack, GSA cinch pack, or your new GSA neck wallet. Wear comfortable shoes.

Accessibility: Lots of walking

Meeting location: State House Visitor Center

Parking: You can park on the top floor in the legislative garage off Storrs St. Display your GSA car decal.  If you don’t have a decal, you can display a printed piece of paper with a GSA logo on it.  There is also street parking ($1/hour) surrounding the State House and on Main Street.

Description: The tour involves walking around the State House grounds and learning about the buildings around us also. Lots of Walking!

Starts at 2:00 pm and will last approximately until 3:30 pm.   GSAs can also visit the State House before or after the grounds tour.
