Event Description: This family-friendly event features a variety of engaging exhibitors, agriculture experts, and educational workshops of interest to home-owners, hobby-farmers and industry members alike, barnyard animals, agricultural demonstrations, children’s programs and activities, livestock & horticultural competitions and more. Not to be missed demonstrations include working sawmills and heavy equipment.

Volunteer Duties:

Thursday May 4th: Exhibit Registration Table, Arts and Crafts Building, and Sheep & Wool Buildings.  Volunteers on Thursday will receive a ticket to the expo for Friday or Saturday.

Friday May 5th: Exhibit Registration Table, Classroom Monitor, Ticket Sales / Cash Register / Credit Card Register, Hand Stamper, Expo Support / Exhibit Hall Floater / Surveys, Awards Ceremony / classroom 1, NH Tourism Booth

Saturday May 6th: Exhibit Registration Table, Classroom Monitor, Ticket Sales / Cash Register / Credit Card Register, Hand Stamper, Expo Support / Exhibit Hall Floater / Surveys, NH Tourism Booth

Volunteer Shifts:

May 4th: 8:00-12:00, 12:00-4:00, 4:00-7:00

May 5th: 6:00-10:30, 8:15-12:30, 8:30-12:30, 9:30-2:00, 10:30-2:30, 12:30-3:30, 2:00-6:30, 2:30-6:30,  3:30-7:00

May 6th: 7:45-11:30, 8:15-12:00, 8:30-12:00, 9:00-12:30, 11:30-3:30, 12:00-4:00, 12:30-3:30

Mandatory Orientation: May 1, 9 am via Zoom. Signups will be open in the calendar. There will be a survey orientation option if you cannot attend the Zoom meeting.

Dress code

Full GSA uniform: GSA shirt, KHAKI pants or skirt and name tag.
No purses or large bags, please. Fanny packs and small over the shoulder wallets are okay.
If you need to add extra layers for warmth, please try to wear them underneath your GSA shirt (complimentary plain colored long sleeved shirts, turtlenecks, etc.) Please try to avoid sweaters, coats, and vests that might obscure your uniform shirt. If you are wearing a sweater, it must be a cranberry, forest green, or navy cardigan style.

Difficulty Rating: 3
Must be able to stand and/or walk for most shifts. Some sitting positions will be available.
