GSA Founder’s Day a Success

Chichester, NH — NH Granite State Ambassadors celebrated Founder’s Day on June 1st at Chuckster’s in Chichester to commemorate their 25th anniversary.  NH Granite State Ambassadors was founded 25 years ago by three individuals: Judi Window, Bill Petersen, and Peter Morgan.  Founder’s Day gave the organization the opportunity to thank its founders, the volunteers, and celebrate the unofficial start of the summer season.

“We wanted to put together an event to honor our founders, our organization, and most importantly, our volunteers,” said Executive Director Kelly Bryer.  “We would not be where we are today without the foresight of our founders and our extremely dedicated volunteers.”

As part of the ceremony, a GSA volunteer read a fairytale version of the formation of the organization.  Each of the founders were given a citation from Governor Chris Sununu.  The organization sponsored a miniature golf tournament at Chuckster’s, complete with fun contests, door prizes, lunch from Diz’s Cafe, and Chuckster’s ice cream.

“It was such a great opportunity to honor our founders and volunteers,” Bryer said.  “This was our first big event of the year, especially after COVID-19, and we felt strongly about making it special.”

Granite State Ambassador volunteers are excited to be back in full swing at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, state welcome centers, chambers of commerce, museums, and events this year.  It will be a busy and exciting tourism season throughout the state.
