NH GSA Honored by Governor Sununu

Concord, NH — On December 8th, 2021, NH Granite State Ambassadors was honored by Governor Sununu with a proclamation in recognition of the organization’s 25th anniversary.  The Executive Council and Governor Sununu awarded this proclamation during the Executive Council session.  Kelly Bryer, Executive Director, Emily McMaster, Communications Director, and Gretchen Ziegler, Board Chair received the award, along with several GSA board members and a number of State House GSA volunteers.

The proclamation commended the organization’s commitment to welcoming and educating visitors to NH, while demonstrating the essence of NH hospitality.  

“We are humbled and honored to receive such a special recognition by Governor Sununu,” said Kelly Bryer, Executive Director.  “Our organization thrives on the commitment and dedication of our volunteers, who have made it possible for our organization to succeed for 25 years.”

NH Granite State Ambassadors have celebrated the 25th anniversary over the course of 2021 with tours, educational virtual programs, and written content promoting organizations throughout NH.  Each month highlights a theme or region of NH.

The organization was founded in 1996 and has now certified over 1,950 volunteers.  Each year, Granite State Ambassador volunteers serve an average of 20,000 hours and assist well over 100,000 guests at over 40 visitor information centers and special events.
