Your Granite State Ambassador Word-of-Mouth Marketing Team is back in action and assisting guests!

On July 1st, our Granite State Ambassador volunteers resumed their duties welcoming guests at the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, Manchester Millyard Museum, Bedrock Gardens, Peterborough Area Chamber, Lake Sunapee Region Chamber of Commerce, Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth, Salem State Welcome Center and Seabrook State Welcome Center. We hope to be in more centers soon as they safely open back up.

While we were home, we turned our efforts to learning as much about our partner businesses and New Hampshire as possible. In fact, our GSAs spent well over 1000 hours on this!  To help them, we curated a specialized educational newsletter, The Sunny Gazette, for our volunteers, filled with pages of NH learning experiences.

We made your virtual tours / experiences a top priority and our GSAs took the time to provide you with their thoughtful feedback (posted on Virtual Experiences/Tours page). Our new Conversations & Interview videos have been a big hit too! If you would like to share your knowledge about how you create your product, or be interviewed by our staff to share even more information with our GSAs, email info@nhgsa.com. Our GSAs then researched and developed some new guides and lists for easy referrals, which include:

Additionally, we updated our NH Regional Referral Guides, which include actual referrals from NH welcome center volunteers and employees, on Hidden Gems; Covered Bridges; Swimming Holes; Places to Paddle; Hikes and Nature Walks; Bike Trails; Picnic Areas; Historical Sites; Favorites; and Information Resources. We are quite proud of these and are in the process of converting them from Word Docs to webpages. Click here to view.

Tell us about your business – July Update

Please answer a few questions in our July Update Survey so we can help spread the word about your specials, events, hours, policies, and procedures during this time. We will compile and post your answers for our volunteers, front-line employees and guests to refer to.

Thanks to all the great feedback you provided us in April, we were able to rally our volunteers to purchase gift cards from many of you. As our way of giving back to you, NH Granite State Ambassadors also purchased $600+ worth to use as incentives for our recent NH Gives / COVID fundraiser. It was a win-win for sure!


Our July GSA Certification Training is FREE for all tourism-related businesses and employees.

With over 25 presentations, our GSA Certification Training is an informative overview of our state, industries, agencies, associations and businesses. You can sign up to participate and/or view 1 module or all 7. You can join us online or view all virtually at your own pace – every session will be recorded. This is our gift to you to help get your staff up and running for the season. To view the agenda and to register – click here.
