Volunteer: A Mid-Summer Night’s Cemetery Tour
The Manchester Historic Association is holding another interactive cemetery tour and they need your help.
Thursday, August 26th, 2021, 4:30-6:30pm
Sign ups are open on the GSAs online calendars.
Lead groups of guests through Pine Grove Cemetery to stops where Majestic Theatre live actors will engage guests in the telling of first person accounts of some of Manchester’s most prominent citizens including Frank Charpenter and Nehemiah Bean.
You must be physically able to walk your groups around the performance route.
Uniform: GSA uniform
There is no on-site restroom, but I’m told that there is a gas station down the road to stop at before you get there.

Meet at the Ursula chapel near the Calef Road entrance. Guests will be divided into small groups.
Directions
Take Interstate 293 to Exit 2 (Brown Ave Exit). Bear away from the airport (right if coming from the south/east; left if coming from the north/west)at the end of the off ramp. The cemetery will be ahead on your left.
