Following the National State of Emergency declaration by President Trump and New Hampshire State of Emergency declaration by Governor Sununu, The New Hampshire Campground Owners’ Association (NeHaCa) has postponed the 48th Annual New Hampshire Camping and RV Show (scheduled for March 27-29, 2020 at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford, NH) until September 25-27, 2020 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19).

We’re looking for a few friendly, outgoing volunteers to help out with the NH Tourism Booth at the 2020 Camping and RV Show in Bedford. Plan to engage guests in conversation about NH and its attractions, and pass out literature (highway maps, NH Visitor Guides, and more).

The Camping and RV Show features RV dealers, camping equipment outlets, and more than 50 campground owners/managers.

Event Hours:

  • Friday, March 27: 1 – 8PM
  • Saturday, March 28: 10AM – 8PM
  • Sunday, March 29: 10AM – 5PM

Shift times:

  • Friday, March 27: 12:45-5:30, 4:30-8:00
  • Saturday, March 28: 9:30-1:00, 1:00-4:30, 4:30-8:00
  • Sunday, March 29: 9:30-1:30, 1:30-5:00

Signups: Open Thursday February 20th, 8:00 am

Shifts are about 3 hours long, and there will be two
 GSAs on duty per shift. A NHGSA staff member will be stopping by throughout the day to check in, but otherwise not necessarily on site. Emily will be available by cell phone 603-244-0757 all weekend (or you can call Kelly at 960-0272)

Parking Info:
There is free parking and shuttle service from the designated parking lot at 3000 Goffs Falls Road, Manchester 03103, or you can pay $10 to park at the NH Sportsplex ONLY if space is available.

**Please leave extra time for the shuttle.  The show doesn’t start until 10, but the shift starts at 9:30 so that you have enough time to take the shuttle.**

Orientation:
Orientation info will be posted online closer to the event.

Dress code:
GSA uniform: GSA shirt, black pants/skirt, and name tag. Shoes that you are comfortable standing in are a must, and there is usually space in the booth under the table or behind the banners to stash your bag.

Difficulty rating: Although there are chairs in the booth, please be prepared for the possibility that you will be standing for most of your shift.
