Tour: Portsmouth Area

Eligibility: Must be an active GSA and have 50 service hours

How many GSAs can attend: 25

Uniform: GSA uniform. No purses or bags allowed on tour – leave them in your car trunk. You can bring a small cross-body purse, a waist pack, GSA cinch pack, or your new GSA neck wallet. Wear comfortable shoes.

Accessibility: Difficult/Lots of Walking &/or Lots of Stairs

Meeting Location: Seacoast Science Center, in Odiorne Point State Park – 570 Ocean Boulevard, Rye

Parking:  It is highly encouraged that GSAs carpool if possible for this tour. The Seacoast Science Center has on-site parking, and then we head to downtown Portsmouth. The Warner House has arranged for 10 free parking spaces at the St. John Episcopal Church parking area on Chapel Street. (Those cars may stay parked there for the rest of the tour). Other cars can park in the paid parking lot on Bow Street or the City Parking lot at 1 Harbour Place, in front of Cambridge Trust Bank and Raleigh Wine Bar. And there are several parking garages in Portsmouth as options.  You are also welcome to leave your car at the Seacoast Science Center and carpool from there.

10:00 – 11:00 – Seacoast Science Center (in Odiorne Point State Park – 570 Ocean Boulevard, Rye)

11:45 – 12:40 – Warner House (150 Daniel St, Portsmouth)

1:00 – 2:30 Lunch and sail aboard the Gundalow (60 Marcy St, Portsmouth)

2:30 – 3:30 – Explore Prescott Park

Food Information: Lunch on the Gundalow will be provided.

Tip: 20% is expected

Weather: Dress accordingly.  Tour may be weather dependent.

# of stops: 4.  If you sign up for this tour, it is expected that you commit to the entire length of the day and every stop.
